To enable HomeKit remote control, you'll need to set up an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or iPad as a HomeKit bridge, connecting it to your home WiFi network.

The smart plug also supports timer schedules and scene setting, letting you create automated on/off routines to save energy and costs. You can add your connected devices to custom scenes, then control them all simultaneously with a single tap.

Setting up the smart plug is a breeze. Simply power it on and complete the configuration process, and it will automatically sync with the Home app. The device is FCC and ETL certified for safety.

Regarding technical specifications, the smart plug operates on 100-125V, 50/60Hz, with a maximum load of 15A (10A per port). It features an on/off button, and can function in operating temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).

For iOS users, it's recommended to configure the HomeKit products in the Meross app first, as it offers the latest firmware updates for stable and secure use. After pairing with the Meross app, the devices can then be controlled in both the Meross and Home apps (iOS 13.0 or later).

Android users, on the other hand, will have a seamless experience configuring the smart plug with the Meross app, which is compatible with any Android smartphone or tablet running Android 4.1 or higher.

It's important to note that the smart plug requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network for setup. If you have a mesh WiFi system with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, you may need to temporarily turn off the 5GHz network during the setup process. Ensuring a strong WiFi signal is crucial for the smart device to respond reliably to the Home app.
