It requires a neutral wire and two separate load wires for the fan and light, and is not compatible with fans that have a built-in remote, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi control system, single-load wire fans, or DC motor fans. Additionally, it works with dimmable LED, CFL, and incandescent bulbs up to 300W, but is not compatible with smart bulbs.

The switch connects to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control the fan and light levels from anywhere using the Meross app or with voice commands through Siri, Alexa, or Google. You can also create schedules and timers to automatically turn the fan and light on and off, giving the impression that someone is home even when you're away.
